Project Description

When Spadeoak were awarded the contract to resurface the auxiliary car park it demanded strict planning and a steadfast works schedule. All work had to be completed within two weeks to allow for the next live broadcast.

A DuraKerb Partnership With Warwickshire CCC & Spadeoak

It took a gang of two under three hours to install 110lm of DuraKerb without the need of lifting equipment whilst also removing risk at source as operatives were not exposed to heavy lifting, crush threats, hand arm vibration syndrome or silica dust.

Spadeoak were able to take full advantage of the speed of installation of DuraKerb and were able to achieve a reduction in labour costs and deliver the project in a timely and effective manner.

“The project had to be finished within a short timescale and by using Durakerb we were able to complete the job during our two week window. They were effortless to lift and thanks to the alignment spigot, we could achieve perfectly straight runs quickly”
Andrew Bingham, Spadeoak
“We found Duarkerb easy to cut with normal hand saw which meant that risks from HAVS, noise and silica dust were removed completely”
Jeff Russell, Spadeoak
